12th is good for me, whichever is faster unless one is massively cheaper, I imagine tunnel will be easier/quicker

just spoke to a mate of mine who did drive/challet last year and reckons a 16 bed chalet worked out at £85 each shared self catering with hot tub and wash room and nearly all had seperate rooms. drive is split equal ways. hes sending me details and ill post them . that was ferry at dover. about 800 miles from my door to door roughly.

That would be epic, although I'm pretty sure decent accommodation would mean less time on the bike for me, hot tub, beers and chilling with no wife and kids, 3/4 runs a day max

nah mate. if you havent done morzine youll not be off the bike dude. we were doing from 9.30 ish each day untill 4-5 pm. stop for lunch. a pint here and there as at the top of most lift stations theres a cafe. rest and a chat on the top of a mountain and then back on it. easy long chilling epic days and the little fluffy cloudsed at night bud.

yeah. there is that lol.. might be better to post your bike down here a week before and we take it and you just fly out and we meet you at geneva airport. not sure how that would work or even if you go near there driving, if not could book a taxi from airport and back again or a shuttle there and back before hand.

That trail looks awesome, less massive gap jumps, roots and smallish drops, hopefully this goes ahead

morzine, les gets, lindarrettes, chavannes, mont chery ect all have everything from flowing trails to daft big drops and gaps. a trail for everyone. we found some of the best were the blues as less travelled and still techy. plenney blue was our fave as it was in morzine and last trail of the day before home. easy but flowy.

Did the last bit of that run down to where the orange pads are over the bridge, it's far far steeper in real life than it looks on that video. There's a run at the top called Airline that runs into it, not for the faint hearted !

we did all them but this was i thought the most versatile run down on plenney. i think my faves were double black on mont chery and super morzine black. there was a run over there called best kept secret. we also ran a walkers path that was mega steep and rooty as fook. walkers jumped out of the way as we flew doon. classic. every run was fun tbh. never had a bad day. just tyring.
just watched your vid buddy. i didnt do airline. a bit to mental for me mate. i like technical but gaps shit me up.
