It looks all wrong as that's a lube and not anti seize! but if a bike mechanic uses it, then fair fecks! I weigh 17 stone and the seat post hasnt moved under my weight, so it works fine for me.

!!!Please don't take this in any way other than the intended debate purposes!!! To be fair, can he really be given 100% of the blame?? Afterall, he just checked into a B&B under a false name for whatever reason.. Hundreds of people do that everyday! He didn't ask for all the folk to go searching for him. It's not like he made a prank call and said he was lost on his bike, is it? All he did was check into a B&B under false details and chatted a load of bullshit.. In the past 12-18 months I've stayed in a lot of B&B's and If I wasn't back by a certain time, the owner/manager/reception bird would mind their own bloody business! Maybe a relative had called the b&b asking if he had come back? hes obv a dodgy fucker if he's going around using a false name.

Don't think this will affect your judgement ..but I have been running the Fox Float RC 2 36's on my Nomad for seven years without fault .. If anything it's maybe too much fork for my style of riding ..but plush ..real plush ! There have obviously been improvements over the years ..but in terms of reliability these baby's have never let me down ! I can't really comment on the Bos ...as I have no experience of them ..and only know what I have read on here and in bike mags ...some excellent and some not so good ( mainly due to servicing issues..) Why do you need so much travel anyway ...? I've got a set of Fox forks on my 456, lower end 32's. I bought them with the expectation of being blown away and it just never happened! Like I say, they are just basic forks and I would be interested in knowing if the 'characteristics' of Fox forks changes the higher you go up the range!? My 32's work well but would choose my old SID's or Lyriks any day over the Fox's. I know that nobody sticks to service intervals but the BOS service interval is every two years.. I have been given details of a company that will service them for a very reasonable amount of money.. Also, I seem to remember being told or reading that the seals on the BOS are Fox items anyway!? As for travel..... 160-170mm because A) I can. B) i love long travel forks and C) hopefully, there will be no need for me to buy a DH bike. You can't really compare fox 32s to lyriks? The lyriks have 35mm stanchions iirc?? just think you've got more money than sense, you'll not be able to tell the difference spend the money on some enve wheels.....

I wouldn't get anything that makes the bike feel different if you think that it feels perfect the way it is
Fair enough replacing the shitty standard 780mm rise bars for some renthal ones etc, but I wouldn't get some that are totally different as it may make it handle worse

Just get superstar and ignore the plebs on here, I've had various bits of superstar stuff over the years as have hundreds of thousands of others around the country, never been let down by any of it, pads, rotors, stem even had a wheelset on my trail bike that was fine, a wheelset on my DH bike that was bullet proof and I bought a stans wheelset from them for a bike that never got built and I sold them for more than I paid. The brake pads are absolute dog shit compared to proper oem i know a lad who had a wheel set on his DH bike and he said they were spot on, but stu (type r on here) had bother with his tho.

Nelly, that's EXACTLY the predicament I face right now, cancel the order and get something else and be happy with it for a few weeks but then be a little disappointed it's not the Warden :/ Ever get the feeling life is telling me not to get this bike? Or maybe that good things come to those that wait??? im glad I didn't cancel my order.

Obv the vented hope ones are quite a bit thicker, so its not the best example, but the comment about the saw rotors is valid.

You do realise that certain rotors are meant for certain brakes? Source? Floating rotors: Popular amongst both performance orientated riders and those just looking for something a little different Stainless steel braking surface riveted to an aluminium central carrier Offers a significant weight saving over standard rotors Floating design deals with changes in temperature Available in a six colour options Weight 183mm: 147g Vented rotors: The vented rotor is designed specifically for our Tech V series brakes The rotor uses internal fins to allow the air to flow between the two friction parts The induced air flow significantly reduces heat build up in the rotor Fantastic and consistent braking performance in wet conditions thanks to its capability to clear the water layer through its fins Dyno tests show up to 15% less heat build up compared to our floating rotors Weight 203mm: 288g just an example from the hope site. quite a few different rotors are thicker than others too PLUS, look at the saw rotors, different caliper designs will line up differently on the disc, so instead of there being 100% contact on the disc, there could be alot less
