Worst name for a helmet ever TLD A1 is awesome btw, most comfortable lid I've ever used and looks brilliant I've just ordered the TLD A1 from CRC - reduced from £140 to £67 it would have been rude not to! You wont be dissapointed

Until the new one arrives and then it'll be like 'Commencal.... What Commencal?' haha Aye, more than likely, something keeps telling me to keep the frame (for sentimental reasons and if 26ers ever become popular again lol) and just sell everything else, bike frame look good on the wall lol lol, it'll look cool on the wall Any updates as to when the Canyon will be arriving?

Love that mate.. Looks great. Why, may I ask as a noob, can you not use this as a DH bike ?? You could if you wanted, but it would get pretty bashed up quickly and things would wear out alot quicker. Plus the extra travel on a full on downhill bike will come in handy on the more gnarlier DH stuff

Cheers lads. Yeah I don't think the head angle does me any favours while climbing, that combined with the amount of travel makes the front end very light and prone to wandering on steeper climbs. It's manageable though and I wouldn't change it as its brilliant once pointed downwards

I like em both stu, specially knowing that you`ve built em both but just think how good the photos would look with a mega along side Cheers Paul, I think you become so much more attached to a bike that you've built yourself. Never bonded with the cube as much as these two as daft as it sounds. And don't worry I've got my heart set on a nukeproof pulse to go alongside them

I've just shaved mine off, invested 4 months in it and shaved it off on a whim. Kind of regret it now as one of my mates described it as magnificent

I've also been wondering about the sizing of downhill bikes. Think my next purchase will be a nukeproof pulse, and the nukeproof size guide recommends a small for my height/inside leg measurement but it just doesn't seem right to me. Guess it would be best to get a sit on one if I can. CRC have a 2013 pulse in stock in small for £2200 which is seriously tempting me Very nice supreme by the way
