After not getting out on the bike for a few weeks then coming down with food poisoning for nearly 4, I thought it was about time I got some fresh air. I decided I needed a cycle and something different from my usual trails in the local grounds, I then remembered a wee 3-4 mile walk I did nearly two years ago to Stac A' Phris, knowing my fitness wasn't going to be up to much I didn't want to push myself too much. No trails, no tracks, just open coast line and loads of fun! This is a shot I took on my walk two years ago  So Off I set, weather was overcast and cool, just how I like it  First glimpse, after a bit of trekking around I could see my destination  Decided to head along the headland you can see to the right of the above image first. End of the road, reached the end point of the sticky out bit   Time to head to the Stac, this bit was fun, rocky downhilly section  Made it, left the bike here as it was quite a dodgy drop at the edge haha  Epic selfie  And the Stac in it's glory  Good wee cycle, nearly died by the end of it, now I need to build up my fitness again. Thanks for the kind words guys, my two fav things bikes and photos  This is the west side of Lewis, if you fancy fire up Google maps/earth and find shawbost, with pictures switched on you will be able to see the first shot above at the location (for anyone interested) |

No way I'm going on the dog on a Sunday, when a new section has been opened, when Steve Peat is there.. No haven't tasted it, don't think I will either, smells of rotton feet haha! I'll throw one in for the December comp Again, thanks for the comments guys... |
