The beast looks very good, what area or loop would incorporate it? I mean in a descending direction as you defo wouldn't want to climb up it.

Was round that area on Saturday. Did a great 20 miles taking in potato alley, lockerbrook. Hagg farm, win hill. And yes UP the beast lol.
Cave dale is a great descent, it's a real challenge, but we didn't get over that way this time.

I used to occasionally stay at my bosses house as a young rep and he used to take me to the Swan at Garforth .. Where they had a hand-pull pint of Tetleys Bitter on tap .. Better than mothers milk ...but fcuk me it doesn't travel well from Yorkshire when they pump gas into it
I am also partial to a pint of Bass hand pull ...it's also very canny in cans ...as I found to my cost on a train journey in the buffet car from Kings Cross to Durham ..totally hammered when I staggered off the train ....having got pissed with another sales rep from Newcastle ... Those were the days !
