Well it will be if this morning is anything to go by -4c...and picture post card white . Can't say where we are riding as it's a little naughty ..but as you are very unlikely to visit I will post some pics .... Looking up the North Tyne Valley this morning...

Have fun mate , I'm sat here thinking sod that it's to bloody cold but mite go out tomorrow nite as its latte nite at hicks lodge , so at least that warms ya up half way in to ya ride

I rode over the Chase last night, 2 degrees! Mind you started to warm up on the slog back up Abrams Valley. I need some winter gloves though!!

-2 last night by the time I got back to the car park at Gisburn. and I would imagine it would have got a lot colder later in the evening. www.strava.com/activities/225582986Nice night though, clear sky and nearly a full moon. Anyone one else find night riding strangely adictive

As mentioned in the first post ..this ride is tres naughty..so let's just say it's a suburb of Kielder Forest.. Waiting for the boys to turn up... Mr Bell & Gramish ...note the new short travel Santa Cruz Tall Boy ..being tested for the first time ..which he rated highly

Bike faffing done ..and we are on the way ...river/ burn just to the right out of shot Ian having just got to the bottom of the first section of wooden steps ...then came to grief on trying to flip the bike 45 degrees Before successfully negotiating the second section..Graham in close attendance ...

It was very frosty ..and ground conditions in the main were very firm ..misty though ..and frozen mist at that... Negotiating a "kissing gate" Errrr....no thanks mate...

Not something you expect to see at 8.30pm..must need the money for Christmas ...! The start of the final ( fantastic ) singletrack drop A welcome fire in the pub ( The Hollybush Inn, Greenhaugh ) ..in case you happen to head this way ...great accommodation My kind of party ...think I'll go !! A nice pint of Nels Best ...before heading home ...yep midweek in a tiny hamlet meant that we were the only 3 in the pub ...the barmaid made 4

Great pics Hodgy - that boozer looks just the ticket after a freezing night ride - mind you, bet you never felt a thing as long as you had a jumper made by that local base layer firm - do you use them?
