Pretty simple really, show us all your past and present pride and joys. My first mountain bike, only lasted a few months before it was stolen, I used the insurance money to buy a Super Nintendo The bike that got me back into biking, still wish i'd kept the frame, bought it of a mate for buttons as he wanted me to get off my lazy arse I really liked this bike, I managed to keep it pretty much standard as I hadn't caught the modding bug yet, decided to change it as I wanted a bit more travel I got the Scott for cycling to work but soon realised that I couldn't be arsed cycling to work so it sat collecting dust for ages This is where it all began, the modding that is. Spent a fortune changing everything, then decided I wanted a Commencal My first full build, I've still got the frame, if I still have it come the summer time then I think I'll rebuild it like it was in this picture as that's when I liked it most My current DH bike, a beast of a bike My current trail bike, this is without a shadow of a doubt the fastest trail bike I've ever owned!

Wouldn't be able to upload the pics ....don't think laptops were invented so use your imagination.... A purple Gary Fisher Wahoo and a bright yellow Gary Fisher Big Sur ...both gave excellent service ..the first being fully rigid which I honed my " skills " on ! The second a hardtail with Marazzochi Bomber forks ..totally rad man !

Pretty easy for me having only really started loving bikes in the last 4/5 years Spent too much making this look pretty, if I still had it now it would be a beast with some much better suspension Wish I could have enjoyed this more but hard tails just aren't for me, I'm really impressed by people that can ride them fast Favourite bike so far, built it all myself, loved it, but broke 4 of my bones in May and October so I wimped out and bailed Now I have this an I am determined to get my money's worth and ride it till it dies, so far it's been epic and can't wait for summer when I can ride evenings and weekends

I started riding on this.. I bought it with a tax rebate I got and it was a complete gamble. I'd not sat on a bike since childhood but really liked the idea of proper mountain biking. The gamble paid off and I carried on riding.....Proving a lot of people wrong. Specialized Herdrock Sport I then moved onto building my own bikes and this was my first effort On One Scandal I bought this off a mate (not in this guise) and got a taste of titanium bikes and singlespeed On One titanium Inbred My second titanium bike and by far my favourite ever bike.. Wish I didn't sell it On One (Lynskey) titanium 456 My first full suspension bike. Loved it and just bought a new one. Nukeproof Mega (2012) Loving this at the moment. Fast, agile and hard as fook.. Turns a few heads too. On One carbon 456 Evo This is my latest project. Should be done well in time for next summer. 2015 Nukeproof Mega AM275

Dead easy - only had 3 bikes and still got my first and last - only the Cube has gone which helped pay for the others and the mods I've done. Loved the Cube and want another HT - but longer travel next time and carbon if possible. The first MTB I owned, in it's original guise, replete with mudger! As it is in it's new life as a S/S rigid. The Cube - fast bike this was. And the Chief - my first ever F/S. Looks better now with the all black debonair shock, but haven't got a new piccie.

Ok so here are mine, forgetting my younger bikes when I was wee etc. Around 2006 I bough my first 'proper' bike, Raleigh M-trax FSV 2.0, bought to get me into cycling etc but didn't really work, maybe clocked upto around 300miles if that! When our trails were beginning to get build I went out on it a bit more in 2010/11 then it died out again. Around May last year I got back into cycling and bought myself a 2013 a Cube Analog. This is where I got the bug! This was a great bike and got good use out of it (for about 4-5 months!) Then I sold and moved on to the 456 Loved it so much! Had this for a while. Stack of use and the bug was getting worse! I seen a new frame and thought oh yea The Summer Season arrived! Everything swapped off my old frame and away she went. For another 5-6 months Then the Slayer arrived Need I say more? It's a beast and rides awesome and probably will keep this for a good while! I've made a few changes to it and one or two still to do, Reverb being the most pressing

So I've had a brief and varied bike history, all these are over the last year (well, just over): Start ed off with this Marin, which I absolutely ruined within 2 months of owning, frame is now all battered, forks have seized and as has the BB, still, it got me hooked! Then came the first proper bike, a purple Orange Five which sadly got stolen: To replace that (insurance company were dragging their heels so I bought another bike), I bought a Whyte G-150, amazing bike and I learnt so much and built so much confidence, sadly it didn't stick around as my actual ride for too long due to the phenomenal back ache it gave me (I'm 6'6", the climbs I was too cramped up) And now to my most recent ride, another Orange Five, which is probably the farthest from 'stock' I've made a bike, but that's going now as well (I have a serious upgrade addiction, can you tell?) to make room for a Knolly Warden, which is not only a larger bike, but hopefully the rear suspension set up will be better than the Five which is quite frankly over long loose descents where the rear wheel locks up, well, it's fucking terrifying not feeling the rear absorb much, anyway, bike: No doubt I'll post the Warden when it finally arrives

I'm sure you'll be ok, Its good seeing where we all started off and what we have all had, and like you say, there is some cracking bikes in this thread. I'm liking all the On Ones, they just look right imo.

I had this ridgeback to ride the local woods. I then put some road tyres and used it for work. Saracen kili 29er. Pretty awesome bike for getting the miles in, wish I kept it for work. On one 456 carbon. Need I say more, I'll regret selling this at one point in my life. One one 456 evo2, feels very good, crying out for bigger forks. Still have this to ride the local woods. Nukeproof mega TR. The latest bike what I'll be keeping for a while I hope

This is where it started for me. GT Aggressor XC3 which I gradually upgraded. This is one of the last pictures I have of it before upgrading the brakes to ones that actually match! I certainly used it in all weathers: I then went on the C2W scheme and got this: Only changes to this bike after 3000 miles in a little over 18 months are the swap to Deore brakes and in the last few weeks swapping to Pro 2/Flow wheels and a £10 second hand XT shifter and mech! I've done lots of silly things on this bike and don't really plan on selling it, just getting some better forks and a cheap and nasty dropper. Then I decided I wanted a full suspension bike and decided to build one. I used a mix of new and really good second hand parts to build it. Then after a few months upgraded the shock as I spotted a bargain: I love this bike, it's so much better than I am and a hoot to ride. It even climbs decent! Only trouble is my eyes are wandering to this: so the mega MAY be for sale soon. Perfect size for EuropeanBob
