Should anyone be thinking of heading this way then please be aware that there is a lot of snow lying around ..Kevin at the Bike Place was reporting 4-5" yesterday . Very little / none in Bellingham ..but Kielder has it's own micro climate ..and Deadwater which I can see from my kitchen window in the distance is pure white . Of course if you have snow tyres ...nows a good time !

I was hooning around our trails with 3-4 inchs with my minions... Well the back is nearly a slick haha. Was well fun! Apart from the uphills when all the snow stuck to the wheels adds even more weight to te bike
