2 quick links 4 innertubes spare set of tyres set of brake pads 2 gear cables spare chain my 12v mobi washer (you're all welcome to use) Lubes, spare pare of flat pedals spare bladder for bag, as i popped my other at coed y brenin and a compass  thats about it.... |

Bloody hell mate, that's some list! think l will take a spare chain and pads, always take quick links anyway. Plus a tyre and tube. Lubes a very good shout too, plus my handy battery powered work lamp (okay it's a torch)  |

I'll also put a mini toolkit together which I'll distribute around everyone so that we'll be covered for most mechanicals. If we all carry a tool or two, we won't notice the extra weight but the peice of mind may put a few at ease

May I just point out that I wasn't the first to suggest taking lube!!!! I was just going to spit on it.
Seriously though I'll be taking a tool box and plenty of spares for the bike. And beer and fags.

One of the lads I work with has done it says he enjoyed it Nik  I spoke to Nik today who did this ride , his words were bloody good luck if you do both of them over the two days says penmancho is proper gnarley .... Hmm this will be fun |
