Well it's pretty close to Christmas now so that also means pretty close to me ordering my Reverb! Just need a wee favour from one or two of yous who have one, specifically the 380mm/125 drop version either stealth or not. I need to know the length from the bottom of the post to the bottom of the collar, basically the length of the part that fits in the seat tube. Can't seem to find this info on-line, because of the desing of my bike I can't have a post too long, and if I cant get away with the above length my only option is to go normal Reverb with 100mm drop. As you can see my seatpost drops right in above the shock, meaning the post cant be too long. I cut my post just after this so there is no chance of it hitting my shock haha

nswer: I've taken a few measurements for you from the 380mm post that you may find useful:
The 380mm Reverb post measures aprox 375mm from the base of the post to the centre of the saddle rails.
Subtract the 80mm minimum insertion of the post that must be kept inside your frame (or whatever your frame manufacturer says should be the minimum seatpost insertion in their frame, whichever is greater) which leaves you with aprox 295mm max height, from where the post comes out of the frame to the centre of the saddle rails.
Regarding other sizes, the measurement from the base of the post to the centre of the saddle rail is always aprox 5mm shorter than the complete post length for all size Reverbs, and all have an 80mm minimum insertion (unless your frame manufacturer states more for their particular frame, use whichever is greater)
Hopefully this helps??

You will be fine length wise, would suggest 100mm drop if you are overly concerned though. If I was you I would go for the stealth and have the cable through one of those holes on your linkage and then run the cable up your down tube. The none stealth does get a bit annoying with the loose .cable when the seat is dropped.

if your seat post is going down that far it seems to me your frame is too big for you . could be wrong though .

at not small that's for sure, it's more te design f the seatpost that's the issue. Seat only gets put down for tech sections etc hence the dropper.
