My right knee, is throbbing. Right hand side... Same knee but the inside - feels like there's something loose in there. Slightest twist and I get a shooting pain.

Mines more of a lingering pain.. Like a strain... A constant dull pain similar to growing pains... So I'm off out for a 10 miler, spin it off...

I wouldn't reccomend it mate 8 flat miles in gloop! Zero climbing!.. I just wanted to knock a few miles off seeing as I`ve not been out for 3 weeks but cba doing 100 mile round trip to ride on me own. I used to deliver to all co-ops round rain`th,blid`th & all round.

Sounds like classic cartlidge tear to me Will may be just floating crap if you're lucky - had both knees 'flushed out' a couple of times when playing football - did the job a treat.

That's my fear I had that knee operated on in my early 20's (cartlidge and bone removal) due to a footballing injury and hasn't given me a minutes trouble in the 30 odd years since - till now.

Get down the quacks mate, if it is what we think it won't get better without trimming/flushing. TBF it's a nothing procedure these days and you'll be back out on the bike inside a week.

I was up there with melstar and Rick , yesterday did the red route dropped on to the litte black down hill , which I've got to say is a blast , for first timers .. Had a few quick runs down it great laugh , then cup of tea and road the blue which was good fun , did about 16 plus miles .. Looking at the woods there looks like lots of little shoot offs so mite be worth spending a bit of time up there , finding new routes Good fun
