Yes you are right, I am very careful what parts I get - normally brake pads and stuff that is unseen but tbf the narrow wide is probably the most understated thing they have made.

Just get superstar and ignore the plebs on here, I've had various bits of superstar stuff over the years as have hundreds of thousands of others around the country, never been let down by any of it, pads, rotors, stem even had a wheelset on my trail bike that was fine, a wheelset on my DH bike that was bullet proof and I bought a stans wheelset from them for a bike that never got built and I sold them for more than I paid. The brake pads are absolute dog shit compared to proper oem i know a lad who had a wheel set on his DH bike and he said they were spot on, but stu (type r on here) had bother with his tho. |

Yep, both my superstar wheels suffered from very loose spokes after a few months of riding them. Had them both trued and re-tensioned by lbs, unfortunately I destroyed the front but tbf the rear is still going strong. I have had good and bad experiences with their pads though  |

I know plenty of people who adore them, and plenty of people who've had issues with them, I don't rate their pads, and a rivot on one of their floating rotors ceased up on me causing nusense running, and an eventual upgrade to an Icetech.... However as the story goes, you get what you pay for... And a lot of people are happy with them...

Like I said, I can only speak as I find and the only issue I've had with their pads have been the last set which squealed a bit. New set is spot on, quiet and every bit as good as the pads the RX's came with.
Perhaps I've been lucky.
