i thought 1x10 but i bought a brand new 2-bash and sent it to santa. i might just run it but only use 1 ring and no front mech. save pissing around with it but ill be limited to a 42 ring for climbing. i could put the one on from ragley which is a 36 i guess.

Basically greater chain retention. The teeth are made so they sit snug between the links of the chain.

Narrow wide chainring will only save a dropped chain with a clutch mech tho so bare that in mind dude.

things for later cheers lads. heres the build so far. nukeproof headset. for forks 150. wheel from marley. slx 2x10 28/42. x7 mech from ragley with clutch. parts to come include nukeproof bars, stem. saddle. rear minnion and a 142x12 rear wheel with 10 speed gearing. gotta decide on brakes. elixr 1s on marley work ok but basic. might get slx or xts from merlin.

lol. the landy is just a toy mate im doing up. runs great but worked great in the recent snow. ive got to put a new starter motor on it though but otherwise taxed free, motd and road worth mate.
1x10 in future. i just wanna get it up and running as is first them mess. ill put 160s on at some point i guess to. elixrs on merlin are £90 a set. if i shift my bits ill get them. also got 203 rotors to fit when i get 2 mounts.

well nearly there. everything bar the slx brakes ive ordered and ive got to de sticker the wheels as they arent a matching pair. also got to connect and index gears but am sorting that tomorow. any comments welcome. seen a gold collar for the dropper for £10 but i cant see the under saddle lever in gold to match just to be a tart. i think gold brake mounts at some time might look trick to. do we have forum stickers in sight yet to represent lads.

including buying the frame and splitting the ragley and buying new brakes and rear wheel. if i sell old bits im in for around £800 ish all in for a 2013 nukeproof mega tr with foxs, slx brakes tubeless and dropper so all in all a great little build.
