I have now purchased my gearing upgrades.
all orders from CRC benefited from the £15 off £99 spend . so saved £45 on 3 separate orders and the cassette from Evans cycles has a 10% discount . at £136 compared to CRC price of £154 it was no brainer . (with discounts applied ) Full price of £169 on CRC now as discount has ended .
XTR 11 speed
XTR 11sp Cassette £136 Evans (cheapest place to have it even though there is a wait for it of about 7 days)
XTR rear mech £115 CRC
XTR 11sp Shifter & XTR M9000 Race Disc Brake Lever RH £92 CRC
XTR 11sp Chain , Shimano XTR M9000 Race Disc Brake Lever LH , Nukeproof Electron Evo Pedals £91 CRC
treated myself to new XTR Race brake levers and hope they fit the XT hoses .also the ispec b XT i have is not compatible with the new XTR ispec II so the more reason to get the new levers to attach the new XTR 11 speed shifter .
Cost £400 without the pedals . i had £40 CRC gift voucher and i had £120 xmas money . so out my own pocket i spent £240 for gearing + £35 for pedals . not bad i must say and saved loads .
now i cant wait for it to all turn up and get fitted .
I also had a lot of goodies off the missis at Xmas .
got new clothes and a new Sealey portable washer ,and its what i wanted and oh the cash too to get some parts as she didnt want to fuck it up by getting the wrong things .

Love all the XTR 11 speed stuff minus their ugly cransets!.. The reason why im not buying and at £210 just for crank arms then another £80 for a single 34 ring they can keep it even more lol if i changed to Xo1 or XX1 is it easy enough to change the bottom bracket over from shimano to sram ?

Looks like some real nice kit there mate. I like the look of the XTR and it's a bit cheaper than the X1, XO1? You don't half spend some dosh on stuff, but why not if you can afford it. Any jobs going at your place?

Any jobs going at your place? Didn't cost as much as it should of due to having some of the money from Xmas . and of course all in 3 separate orders from CRC and saving another £45 using £15 off £99 spend . I got the cassette at a bargain price of £136 from Evans (compared to £170 from CRC ) and also came today via courier and wasn't expecting it for another week . the Brake levers shot the price up due to Fucking shimano changing there Ispec-B shifters into Ispec-II shifter making my current XT levers redundant as i wanted to keep that feature as its nice and neat and im a tart !! all i have to do with levers is take out hose out the current XT levers and just pop it into new XTR levers then bleed them .no need to change all the olives . its going to look and feel great when finished .

I do like the look of the ispec stuff - keeps the number of clamps on the bars to a minimum, always a good thing. Unfortunately though as I am an XT shifter liker and a Formula brakes fan I've never had it!

XTR is just a poor man's XX1 I'd much rather the Shimano!... Proven tech! Xx1 just looks way more blingy

The reason I got SRAM over Shimano was simply down to the fact that I think the XX1 stuff looks far nicer than the XTR, especially cranks!
Out of the box, all the stuff I bought feels like quality too and the workmanship and details are stunning..
Hopefully it work as good as it looks.. Otherwise I'll be after XTR!
