Got a few mates up for an uplift day at BPW late Feb, a nice quiet random date. Tuesday 24th
Anyone else of here fancy it, its not DH, I took my DH bike and regretted it, its just longer and better descents that you get at trail centers so 140mm+ travel bikes are perfect, hardtails are fine as well

Went today, knackering 7 hour round trip but it was my first time in around 10 months. the Blues are still so amazingly fast but the braking bumps are making them hard work at speed (the blues are normal red trail center descents) They have built a new start ramp and put in some drops to start the Reds and blacks which seems to be working and keeping people off them that would otherwise be out of there depth Here's the drop going into the Reds, the bigger black starts in the background and the other black starts with a gap jump   Awesome day, 4 of us went and had a mainly warm day but with two random hailstorms, the wind was insane though making Any jump a contender for whip off worlds and making the gap jumps on the blacks a bit to risky. Few small crashes for the group, nothing major but I have a few sore areas now I'm home Rock strike took a big chunk of paint off a brand new nomad down to bare carbon, stopped a set of hope brakes working on an orange, split a magic Mary open on a Capra. Only the mega came away unscathed which I am pretty stocked about. Same can't be said about me with som epic blisters on my palms, aches and a sore impact injury or two We had a couple of gopro's on the trip so I will be getting them all together and hopefully putting a video together |

It's not the holding up that bothers me its just the state of the blues, overused by people who may be a little overawed with how fast they are and some sections are just none stop braking bumps, brutal on the bikes and body your chattering around on 20mph sections Still awesome though feels like your actually flying at times |

How many runs can you get in a day there? 8 easy, 10 if you push it, they are long descents though and you will be aching pretty sharpish, we got to 7 when my mates tyre split so decided to call it a day rather than go back to the car and repair it missing a couple of uplifts |
