took one to many links out my 11 speed chain last night . it was joined together using pins . it came with 2 pins used 1 to connect and got one left . but to put a link back in i would need 2 again . so instead of buying more pins (£11.50 for 5 ) is there any connectors out there or any or other chains i can use . all the KMC ones say compagnolo . im only 1 or maybe 2 links short and i took out 3 off a 116 link chain ....   |

Ouch....that's why I couldn't wait to dump my shimano xt chain off the Chief...horrible chain system when it comes to cutting a chain.
I'd have though your best option is just to get the pins, but when the chain goes I'd look into whether or not the SRAM 11 speed will work with the XTR kit (don't see why not) as at least SRAM have a decent power link system.

11 speed links ain't cheap, mate..
Might be worth buying the pins for now. Like Zupoo said, get rid of the chain for another brand when it's worn!
Really not a fan of Shimano chains!

yea i plan on changing the chain later on , just needed someting for now , as i think the closest i can get and n gold is like £50 and the Shimano chain was only £23 .
will get the pins and put the links back in .

Oh shit yeah, can't you just buy another of the chain you've already got? i have now , got some gloves to and used a £5 off code to make it more bearable lol could always send the other chain back and say it was faulty LOL !!! |
