Not starting earlier like most will say, but letting addictions rule  Out on my bike i realise that my lifestyle needs to change, i love biking and imagine how good/fit/fast i could be. Put the bike away and i go back to my old ways. Yeah ,yeah ....but isn't sex meant to keep you fit too ? not when its over in less than a minute |

My first thought was 'not starting earlier' but if I had I would not have had time to do the other things I have done. I'm just glad that I'm still fit enough to do it now - despite my advancing years  |

Im living my regret right now. It was the same as the rest of wishing id started younger but before i started all of this about 3 years ago i was a really unfit overweight smoker, over a period of time i lost a fair bit of weight, got fitter, especially bike fitter, felt like i was actually beginning to feel at one with the bike, getting braver and faster with some belief and quitting smoking was actually becoming a serious consideration for the 1st time ever.
Then i changed jobs to one that would take alot of riding time off me and i just let it all slip big time, eat worse, smoked more and spent alot less energy in my job, could only ride once a week and rather than battling all those to keep myself going in the direction i wanted as far as riding was concerned i just let myself go.
With the new year im starting afresh and have started to work on all this but letting myself slip back to how i was 3 years ago is deffo my biggest regret.
