So so here is my next effort in the sunshine with the go pro. Had to slow down on my decent due to escaped wildlife, which I'm particularly afraid of!!!!! Also fell off a little later.
Sorry for for the first song I put the wrong one on and couldn't work out how to remove it. Wildlife 3.46 and minor wash out 4.58
anyway this is part of my local loop and baggeridge.
YouTube seems to have cut the top off a bit so will adjust the camera up next time.

The last section is like a tunnel of trees that's why it was darker. To be fair the music was off my daughters (12) laptop, will revert to the killers!

Good effort Jimbo - liked the 'osses wandering about the place! My sister has 4 of them but I am very uncomfortable around them. I had to put music on to cover up my swearing when the second horse turned its arse towards me!

Actually there was nothing at all for about the last minute other than a totally black screen .. I will re-check !

My screen went black to. I also cycle around baggeridge and would have s@*t myself I saw all the horses out of their paddocks. It's so muddy there the one puddle is huge, but we usually ride it the other way around and come back into baggeridge that way.

I live in Wombourne so cycle along the railway to himlay and up to Baggeridge, we usually come down this way as there are so many walkers on Baggeridge that you can't get any speed up. That massive puddle is usually full of horse p*ss too!!

Errrrr my friend fell off in that puddle the saturday after christmas , and nearly did the splits trying to avoid putting his foot in it. We live sedgley so usually have a play over baggeridge into himley then onto the railway walk or up to the million wood and kinver.

Looks good Jim, we will have to get out one of the days there are some bits on there I don't know and there are a few bits that aren't on there that I do know! I like Baggeridge/Wombourne, it's a good loop.

I like Baggeridge/Wombourne, it's a good loop. I know! The first 2 sections run along the top of the disused railway and starts where Sytch Lane, Wombourne crosses the railway heading towards Himley. It's only a minute or so long but nice.

I'll try and find it next time i'm over that way, it looks good As you ride towards Himley from wombourne railway station you come to a section that lifts up before going through a tube under common road. Go through tube and turn immediately up the steps to your left and turn right at the top. Cycle along single track until you cross the road and then just follow my video until you come back out onto the railway. (When you get to the bridgnorth road turn left and then 50 yards down right into the woods rather than straight over)

Nice video and countryside. I know the area vaguely and get back down there occasionally but I didn't realise how nice it is off road.
When I was at Wordsley I used my old Marin with road slicks on around the lanes and towpaths in the Swindon, Enville, Kinver region.

There are some lovely country lanes around there, plus the canal and kniver edge too. Very lucky really being so close to citys but only a 2 minute cycle before I am in the countryside.

That is why i'm looking at moving to Wombourne! Nice one, seen anything yet? I go out nearly every Tuesday night to keep the fitness going and once at the weekend but think your weekend rides are more interesting! If you move over you are welcome to join us.
