Halfrauds are flogging a 20g tube of park anti seize for £7.99, about to buy when I noticed they are also flogging general purpose copper grease (advertised as anti seize) in the motoring section for £3.99. Will this do the same job on the dropper lower or will I die? This one

Save your money. Based on past history, whatever you put on your dropper......
It will fail

surely you need anti slip for seat post as anti seize is going to slip by defalt anti seize is for stoping things sticking and a slipy seatpost is like a double dropper

On the destructions that came with the LEV it deffo says 'anti-seize' Rich. Your seat clamp stops it slipping, your anti-sieze stops the post and frame fusing together due to water ingress. I think.
Copaslip isn't a lubricant - apparently.

Just a thought. I've got a big tube of Coppa slip or similar amongst my pile of stuff (I think). If you can use that and can wait till I come over there (or I'll send it with Ant) I'll put you some in a small tub. That way you can spend the £4 in 'spoons.

That's really kind of you mate but I'll just get the halfrauds £3.99 stuff thanks - it'll come in and every wannabe bike fettler should have a tube in the man cave. as for the fitness, well the beer is an essential and integral part of my programme. Without getting blutered every Friday down Spoons I'd be that depressed with all the soul destroying gym stuff I'd just jack it in

You just missed a chance of becoming a legend by getting summat for nowt from a tyke. You must be made of money.
I've just had to spend a fiver on a can of DOT 5.1 brake fluid for my A**d brakes. That's another 2 1/2 pints worth that won't go in the 'spoons till. (It's £1.99 in Jan round here)
Stockmarket tip: Sell your JDW shares quick.

It looks all wrong as that's a lube and not anti seize! but if a bike mechanic uses it, then fair fecks!

It might be OK for 17 stone but Zulu's revolutionary beer and pie diet is having impressive results.

I've offered you some for nowt and Munky has had to point out the obvious "supplier of choice" but you still went and bought it! And from Halfrauds!
They don't have topless girls on the tills there do they?
(drop me a PM if they do)
