!!!Please don't take this in any way other than the intended debate purposes!!! To be fair, can he really be given 100% of the blame?? Afterall, he just checked into a B&B under a false name for whatever reason.. Hundreds of people do that everyday! He didn't ask for all the folk to go searching for him. It's not like he made a prank call and said he was lost on his bike, is it? All he did was check into a B&B under false details and chatted a load of bullshit.. In the past 12-18 months I've stayed in a lot of B&B's and If I wasn't back by a certain time, the owner/manager/reception bird would mind their own bloody business! Maybe he's said to the B&B where he is going and what time he is likely to return, maybe he's still not paid his bill and just done a bunk but the owner thinks he's lost on the hills, anyway, the responsible B&B owner would alert the authorities as the rider could be down hurt with no one around to help. |

Most of us use false names here :s... This is the only place I use my real name. I use a false name for everything else. Quite embarrassing when filling out official documents. Actually thats a lie. When I go in those coffee shops where they ask you your name so they can call you when it's ready I always use the name Hugo Lovepole. Makes me laugh!! |

The guy is a wanker, he should have paid his bill like everybody else.
They should charge him for the helicopter and the time for the people looking for him. more tax payers cash down the swanny.....
