I do as it happens - maybe why I break them so much! I'll often just drop it a tad on berms and stuff just to help me get around the bike better. I think they are really handy, even around Cannock! I'll eventually have one on the HT when I've saved the dosh up. At least then when I break one I've got a spare! this is why seat post size is so important to me and why I love the cable system on the LEV. Just disconnect at the back of the post and out she comes, leaving the cable behind - brilliant!
