Shame that's derelict ..looks like a nice building ..but well spooky the way it is now ...what was it.. Oak hurst House, built 1843 owned by the Hurt family of Ambergate And then in 1890's lived in by the Johnson family who built 'Johnsons Wire Works' factory in front of the house, also now derelict. Such a shame :-(( beautiful tho |

Just a heads up folk, a friend rode it yesterday, and it's seriously messy!,, unless it drys out... It's going to be a very slow and sloppy day!..might be best if we have a backup ride just in case!..

ok ,this has been a long time coming....but im in for this one Woohoo glynn if this ride is to muddy can you think of one up the peaks that will hold up well to the weather can do gaz if that's what everyone else fancies i'd be glad to, altho today it was very icy in places so it had to be ridden very carefully in parts, which sort of means its not at its best. forecast till weekend doesn't seem to change much so neither will the ground. anywhere that's boggy might harden up with frost but that also depends on how it thaws and re-freezes |

You've got a top manager now - feckin awful to watch his football but he gets results! I know for a fact the vilers are jealous as feck. It all boils down to how much Pulis wants it and what team he puts out. It's gonna be a sell out crowd at Stans, a jumping atmosphere and as long as we have a go I'm happy, just hope the sex God that is Rowett doesn't try and take the piss like he did at Blyth last round. Looking forward to it - should be a great atmosphere and they'll hear the joint SOTV across the city! I'm going for a 2-1 home win but really, as long as the baggies don't bum us, I'll be happy. |
