Did anybody sign up for any of the dates when they went live earlier today.
I was tempted with the march one at Gisburn but fear I may not be fit enough or sorted out my knees in time for then so opted for the later ones.
I've taken a chance on the June date at lee quarry one and the October back at Gisburn. In for a penny in for a pound as they say.

Doing the first 3, not done an enduro before. There's a fair few of us doing them, the rest of the lads are doing the full series, i was too tight for that though. Hardtail category at Guisburn too.

Hardtail @ gisburn (Tried to find the doff my cap but we don't seem to have one)! I know Gisburn pretty well but must confess that I haven't been down that line with the gap jump and the drops before as we normally do the figure of eight or head down the hope line instead. Watched some YouTube clips of the enduro at that stage and there some comedy moments on that first drop. some sections of the cockhill part of the lee quarry/cockhill look more downhill then enduro, I know it's a down hill centre over there but never ridden it before as I'm not sure I had neither the travel or the skills. hopefully might bump into you at The Lee one, if you haven't been before and want to take a look before the event let me know and I'll show you around, I can see where some of the stages are however some seem to be opened up especially for the say.

It's just further down the fire road from the entrance to the hope line or turning left at the top of the hope line climb, straight on after you would normally turn off right to head over the slab by section, instead straight on and you will see the first drop (featured in the clip)is just on the left. The previous stage 2 starts a bit further up to include the gap jump (chicken option available).
Comedy moment around 1.10mins.
This clip shows the stage from the start, the gap jump and the fun bits start at 1.08 mins in this dude devices to ride around most of the features.
This a bit at cockhill that looks fun too, I'm not sure if this guy is really a sponsored rider but if he his and manages to come off at the start I fear the worst.

I feared the worst with the rain at the end of last week and they had mentioned cutting in some Loomy sections.
Still. Bet it was good fun.
Quality pics by the way.

Yeah there were a several bits that were so bad you had to get off and push through them and some of the new sections they'd cut into the existing trails didnt really make much sense, would be good if they finished them a bit better and made them proper trails though. Got 30th out of 125 in the masters, so bodes well for the rest of the series if i can stay on!
