Sold my HT last year and regretted it. Kept saying I was going to build a new one and originally settled on an Inbred November time but On One kept pissing about with the delivery date so I cancelled. Got the urge again but decided on a 456 carbon Evo. Not going to throw much money at it - got quite a bit of stuff in the man cave so will be utilising that. Along with the frame arriving today - some forks 120 Rebas - they'll do me. feck knows why this has rotated. Better get ordering the bits I need

Excellent choice, mine is growing on me day by day so might keep the stealth look.

This ^ (the clue's in the title) I thought about getting longer travel but what I'll be using it for (local) 120 is more than adequate. If I need more than 120 up front, I'll need suspension at the back as well and that's what my FS is for. I have no doubt it would look better with longer travel.

Looking good, Will.. Gotta say, you made a good colour choice!
What gearing etc are you planning on running?
PS.. Did you know that you can change the position of the rear brake caliper? You can move it to the outside with a new dropout!
I like mine on the inside though.

120 is easily enough for Cannock. But it's not enough for the frame 4 to 6 inch recommended for the the frame so in the middle Had to send the frame back today when fitting the headset noticed the top of the tube was deformed !!!!! When I had a good look at the box you could see it had been dropped - buggerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Looking good will, doubt it'll stay a budget build though. These things start that way but it never stays like that!!!

Bummer, was hoping you would have this built up pretty quick so I could get some feedback on the geo with 120 travel.

My Chief has the dual position pikes, if that can go from 150 to 120 with no probs I can't see 120 being an issue on the 456, personally.

I'd like a set of dual position forks, are they easy to change the travel on them?
