my lad's bike is in dire need of a new headset, I am unsure as to what to bloody get for a replacement... the spesh tinternet site just states that it is a 1 1/8 threadless with ball bearings....... any of you gurus know what is needed as a replacement (and dinnae go stoopid with silly OTT prices....LOL)

Superstar headsets are mostly all out of stock, and have been for ages now.... I just fired an email off to them to find out what's occurring ...  |

I guess if you have no joy there, Hope would be the next option.. They are near £100 now though!

cheap and cheerful is what the lad needs... £70 is way out of his price range...
received a reply from Superstar....
Hi Dave,
Thanks for your email. Unfortunately our previous range of headsets has been discontinued in anticipation of a new range of UK manufactured headsets. We hope to have a range of headsets to suit any setup available later this year, however at present we cannot provide an exact date for when these will be available.

One thing Specialized usually are, is aesthetically pleasing, something I'd never label any Orange with!..

My orange has bee fantastic compared to the spec
On the up side I have a fsa headstst if you need one
