Guys, Currently my brake lever are next to the grips with the shifter tight next to the brakes onboard.
Have noticed with my winter gloves that braking & shifting feel awkward.
Guessing it's not much netter with thinner gloves but not really noticed it as have slightly more dexterity.
Thinking that swapping brake/shifter position will help as should still be able to use one finger on brake and won't have to twist hand & thumb to change gear.
What sort of angle should brake levers be? Don't feel too bad where they are ATM.

Here you go, remember to take it with a pinch of salt as everyone has a preference but it is a good starting point.

Funny video - had a look through some of the others he's done - nice approach!

My mates new whyte came with the brake levers in 1 finger braking only position, seem miles away from the grips but comfortable. My brakes and shifters point about 45 / 55 degrees downwards ish!

I adjust my lever angle, so that my palms when on the lever are a continuing same angle to my forearms... eg... as straight of a line as possible

Do what feels comfortable to you, cos we're all different shapes and sizes and there is no right and wrong with this, it's purely personal.
