Could go tubeless but would need the whole kit as my wheels aren't tubeless ready.
They only cost about £25 delivered do that'll hopefully see me through winter.
Quite thorny where I ride - hawthorns & brambles.
Next wheels will be tubeless ready for sure.

Isn't that just the same as having a tube in? And with all the lotions & potions ..will it not in fact make the wheel heavier? I have tubeless rims ..which are great until you get a dink ! I have been running tubeless since 2007 ..this doesn't mean that you will never get a flat ...so always carry a spare tube anyway !

The ghetto thing looks a bit of a faff, or perhaps I'm just a lazy git.
Will probably wait until the wheels are knackered or the FD lets me get a new bike to go tubeless.
The Airwave tubes I got are the downhill ones so hopefully a little thicker and puncture resistant (albeit heavier, but nothing that a good curl out wouldn't compensate for).

I always carry a tube as well , glass will cut ya tyre , yep but the amount of people I've rode with , and had to repair there tyre. , like every ride .. It's like ffs just go tubless , less hassle most the time .. Only had one fail and that was when I forgot to top the gunk up a bit .. After about 6mths .. Tubless for me
