Cracking photos! Glad it went well - the weather was kind to you considering the forecast!which did you prefer? North or South? Sam is on the mend - he is very happy to have figured out how to play with a ball whilst wearing his cone...

When I'm doing a training ride on my own I tend to take it gentle up South and ride all three descents down in one without stopping - it's good Fort Bill Training! or take the fire road climb from Cyclewise to North middle descent and do middle descent and final in a one-er!

We were tootling up the fire on the north loop nattering like a bunch of old ladies and a young lady came steaming past us and showed us how we should have been riding funniest bit was when a (possible) strava slave came barging past us on one of the south loop climbs.gaz was convinced he was whinging about something as he almost carried his bike past us so he wanted to catch him up and deck him

You do get some tools! There is no need! Although I can be guilty of doing Strava runs when training, but only on the descents, and I always wait 3-5 mins at start to make sure it's clear, and always do them either first thing in morning or late in evening when its quieter ... So that makes it all ok I think! Haha! I don't barge I have often found if you catch up some guys out with there young sons on a climb at Whinlatter, they'll suddenly pedal off into the distance so I can't catch them and abandon their child. I deal with that one by pedalling at the kids pace and chatting away to them merrily, and when we eventually get to the top or where said father has stopped, bid the kid a good ride and lovely day and either blank the dad or give him a 'womanly stare'. (Whilst really wanting to call him rude words!)
