Looking at pedals in advance of the next bike. Can anyone tell me which one of these is the better pedal? Looked at reviews but nothing hits me in the face - anyone owned one, or both? got Mooves on the Chief which I like, but I also like to try new stuff. These

I'm open to suggestions? but from the reviews and for the price you pay - the Nano's come out of it pretty well. Not looking to spend a bomb on pedals but no fixed budget - max £50?

Cheers mate - have also been looking at Nukeproof Electrons - not sure if the snob in me fancies composite pedals though. Here

Nano Tech are the best pedals I've used. 3000 off road miles later and they are still good to go and have great grip. I'm trying out my new bike with new pedals (2015 DMR V12 Mag's) on Sunday, I'm hoping they will be even better and they cost just a couple of quid over your budget.

I've got the Nano thru pins on my Orange. IIRC they were about £25 on the Xmas promo. Only used 'em once (you were there so you could have tried them!) but they seem OK and grippy enough.

Let me know your thoughts on em H compared to the Nano's. No rush, new bike not until March/April time.

I've got a pair of nano techs on my two bikes. Never had a problem with either pair and I can't say I've looked after them.

Fair enough, you've gone for plenty of other new stuff though? forks at least? Think the nano's should be fine - enough peeps rave about em and I'll never know if I don't try. Was really just wondering if there was anything other than the nano's for the price I am looking at. Mooves are really good but they are the only 'good' flats I've owned - need to broaden my experiences a bit on the HT.

The Mooves and nanos are identical so you can't go wrong. Only difference is the price and logo printed on them.

Cheers Gaz yeah - £50 was the top I wanted to go - think I'll give the Nukey jobbies a go - CRC are knocking em out for £20ish. At least at that price if I don't get on with em they can just be a spare set.
