Point taken ... I'm more in Mr Coggers camp ...everything but the kitchen sink ...I couldn't survive without my stove for a cuppa half way around..and the collapsible field surgeon table has come in handy on numerous occasions for on the spot amputations ....

I've got an Evoc FR trail um limited. . Thing. Looks nice, has a spine protector and hold the kitchen sink. At £130 though, it's a bit on the expensive side. Got the 20L version of this holds stupid amounts of kit used it this weekend to go away as well.

Gaz had bag envy of mine at the FoD meet up earlier in the month. Probably too big for what I need, but great for cramming snack into on longer rides.

Gutted I missed out on this, I have a 2L Rouge and it basically only lets you have your fluid, a small zipped pocket for a bar or two at a squeeze and an open pocket that can fit a tube and repair kit (no pump) haha

I like the Evoc bags, but am I hell paying £140 for a bag. I have an old Camelbak Mule that holds everything I need a new bladder for it though as this one has sprung a leak

I use an Alpkit Gourdon 20l for longer rides , water bottle for quick blast , bladder fits in pouch in back of Gourdon and it's also waterproof

^ This. I bought one based on this review. For £22.50 it's an absolute bargain - the perfect autumn/winter/spring (probably summer too) biking/everyday rucksack. 20 litre capacity, space for a 2 litre bladder outside of the main compartment. It's a dry bag with shoulder straps basically. Cracking bit of kit. The only thing you might complain about is that it hasn't got loads of internal pockets to keep all your tools, etc organised in (buy a travel wash bag to put them all in) and it doesn't come with a bladder. For £22 though? No brainer.

I took the £28 option as i wanted the paper magazine rather than the digi copy. my mate was a little concerned i wouldnt receive my camelbak, so i guess they may have a reputation for this sort of thing.

Can't argue with that - a free Camelbak. Quality kit, I've got 2. A hawg for all dayers and the kitchen sink and the lobo for quick half day blasts.
