Speaking entirely for myself - I haven't rode anywhere better - so far! Last time I even had the bonus of a proper good looking girl, quite 'well built' bouncing down the trail towards me with a very low cut lycra top on. Very innappropriate biking wear, I have to say

Course your welcome.. Anytime.
We have a laugh, usually that's what it's all about, then we do a bit of riding.
We all have our own 'thing', I forget my wallet, Gaz has his grips, Zulu poo's in bushes, Lowcogger carries a ton of useless crap in his bag... Good bunch of old farts really.

I do carry a bog roll in my camelbak mind. I really ought to pack the real ale in.

I didn't know trail centres had Blues, I always go black. I just can't go back.

Can I just add that the blue trail at degla is in my opinion THE most underrated MTB trail in the country. Have you tried the Osprey trail at Kielder ..because as a blue THAT would take some beating ..and although not in this country( Scotland ) the blue trail at Glentress is superb .. but not underrated ! It all depends what you mean by underrated ..and what you are judging it against ....

I didn't know trail centres had Blues, I always go black. I just can't go back. Then you are missing out on some fantastic riding ..using Kielder as an example ..a lot of it is black rough and ready with plenty of technical features ..great to ride ..but sometimes when you just want a blast with some fast and flowy singletrack then this blue ticks all of the boxes ..it has everything that the red and black runs have ..except technical features ..but it is by far the fastest route in the forest . A lot of riders dismiss " blues " as something beneath them and not worthy of their time ...they are seriously missing the point ..

Spot on Hodgy. I tend to use the blue run as a fun, warm down after having done the red/black.

It's just always the case that If I've traveled two hours to get to a place and only have a limited amount of time there I will just go for the reds/blacks. The exception being FOD where the blue is regarded as the best trail there!

That's understandable when time is against you ..and I wasn't having a pop at you directly ..but there really is a wealth of good riding to be had on these blue graded trails around the country...the Berm Baby Berm section at Glentress is one of my favourite sections of trail anywhere..just one long berm leading into another and as fast as you can make it ..and it's a blue . Try one for a change and you might well be pleasantly surprised

Yeah I agree, local stuff I get the time to have a look but on road trips we have to go for the black options. There is a trail near us Midlanders called the miners trail in Sandwell Valley park. It's only a mile long and is more of a big hilly BMX track than a mountain bike trail due to it's length but it packs loads of features into it, The Blue there is berm after berm and you can get up to stupid speeds if you trust your tyres and suck yourself into the corners! Loads of fun. Nice thing with it is for beginners it can be rode at a slow pace but it can be loads of fun if you hit it fast.
