To much weight on your hands, shorter stem might sort it so your not leaning on your bars as much Try to have a loose hold of your grips as well

Yep try and unweight the hands a bit shorter stem higher rise bars. Start with the cheap option though, look at your gloves and the grips. I've had gloves too bulky that did it to me and on the Cube the grips were too thin and hard.

Cheers lads.
I've got a short stem. I'll try some gloves with more padding then maybe if that doesn't work might have to invest in some higher rise bars.

Don't forget to look at your grips! I have recently fitted some ODI yeti's and the comfort level has shot up!

Don't know the exact name of the glove itself ..but I remember reading a while back that Specialised had a glove in their range which was designed to take away the strain on this part of the hand ..may be worth checking out ..

Hopefully it's summat simple like grips, gloves or stem. I know changing my gloves and grips cured mine.

My oh suffered with this until he changed the position of his brake levers. The levers needed to be in a position so his hands and forearm were in a straight line and the hands not at an angle. If the levers are to low the wrist is slightly bent and restricts blood flow to the fingers. If the levers are to high it again tilts the wrist and restricts some of the blood flow, giving the tingling sensation in the hand.
