doing my first xc comp / group ride sunday. 42 kms and 400 /500 mtrs climbing ,so not to hard as the next one is 1100 mtrs climb, that will be a lung buster ,only problem this week has been so wet havent been out at all so i will suffer sunday i think

Yes, a week off before a big ride isn't a bad thing, as long as you have the base fitness in place of course.

well my fitness is very base, lol but i will survive worst thing is first big offroad clipless bit woried about that, but dont know why as have been clipless now for 3 weeks and not fell off so hear goes

bit nervous as its been drizzleing all afternoon, and it will be a mud fest with clipless pedals ohhum, do i change them or mtfu and ride any, way i will take the flats with me, so if it looks bad i can change them quickly
