 Wtf Ergaz is not at the top ... Ffs oh that's me dam ya on about  yep very poor show and I cheat on my road bike but it had to happen at somepoint .. Can't keep being at the top all the time  must try harder .. Plus good job lads some good stats to the lads on the leader board good mileage and climbing

I don't think I'm very competitive tbh, I never ever looked at the old MTBE leader board and never at this one until Jay posted it up, probably why the thought of race/events just don't appeal to me. It's just about social riding for me. Speaking of which did you get your invite to Ard Rock Gaz - I've had 2 invites now! Also my mates who got me into MTB'ing are doing a 24 hour endurance race soon and wanted me to do that too. I politely declined. |

Don't dream of trying to keep up with some of the lads off here Havant got the bottle to do drop offs or big jumps .. i just love the banter when we are in group rides love riding new placers with guys off here . Alway good to hopefully make new friends like you pair of crazy guys only reason why I was top was I wanted to get my fitness up and drop abit of weight .. which has helped me know end I was always last up hill and would get a bit embarrassed with people having to wait for me to catch up .. |

Fair enough mate. I totally get that, I hate being last on the climbs but I don't hate it enough to do what you are doing, so I've just got to put up with it. Also, as you know, I've got other problems atm which mean I can't be too far away from a caff or a handy hidden tree!
Strange about the Ard rock event. I'm sure you'll get an invite, they must be working down the list and I must have applied before you did. Seems like quite a few are dropping out.

No, it makes me a boring twat - but I was anyway so no drama's there Naah, it's great that you lads are up for this sort of thing but it just wouldn't give me any kind of thrill to say I'd done it - it just doesn't interest me at all. Racing/events are just big, crowded bike rides to me. I don't like crowds, it's why I avoid the Dog at weekends. Now saying I've been up and down Snowdon is a different matter - that kind of thing does inspire me. |

Yes I understand the motivation thing Gaz and fair play if it gets you out there, but it just doesn't motivate me. Just the way it is - I'd be more motivated to do the cheekies at Cannock, midweek when it's empty, - seriously.
