I have wanted the Garmin Edge 810 for a while now but the cost has always been silly money so I have held off,now with the Euro exchange rate as good for the Brits as it is I could get it for £205 plus delivery.

Oh and just buy it I thought CRC were based in Ireland, you must get good deals at there place. The thing I like about the 810 is the feature were you tell it the distance and typr of riding you want to do and it suggests 3 routes which is perfect for new rides but has anyone ever used it? Is it as good as it sounds? Cheers

Good call. They're absolutely cracking bits of kit (got the 800).
Next purchases: a clear screen protector. As they work on pressure to change the screen it's very easy to scratch a screen covered in sandy mud so sticking a clear bit of sticky plastic on that costs a couple of euros is a no brainer. And a day glo silicon cover in the unlikely event that it gets pinged into the undergrowth in the event of a crash - it makes it a bit easier to spot. This has never happened to me though and I've had quite a bit of practice seeing how secure the mount is.
