I had my 1 and only run around GT in June, all was going great until a patch of off camber roots on magic mushroom ended my ride with a bang and a broken shoulder blade. Did get to ride in an ambulance for the 1st time which gave me some KOM's  hadn't turned off my Strava while in the ambulance But I still had a great time even though it was raining. |

I know the section well, I pretty much always take that section wide to avoid the roots |
