With the 2 way shifting nowadays do you use trigger finger or thumb (or both) to change up. I always use my thumb but tried going back to finger yesterday and it felt real weird.

With Shimano I always shift up with my thumb and down with finger on 2 way shifters.

Thumb brakes sit over the shifters so using my finger would be awkward.

Thumb, even with the Shimano dual direction thingymabob. Just seems more natural for me.
