If you're thinking Nics then, I'd give them ago. Really good tyres!

Thing is i rode for long time the plastic Nic performance version.. And it suicide at the sight of wet rocks and roots, got the evo now which is different kettle of fish but the shadow of that plastic nics is still in the back of my head and still haunts me.. Still gonna used it as front though but wont trust it like the high rollers.

I had the same problem. I had the performance ones as well and when I got high rollers I swore I would never go back. Then I ended up putting an evo nic on the front and back and it's one of my favourite tyres now. I prefer them over the high rollers because they're quicker rolling and I think they grip really well too. It may also be worth looking at ignitor's if you haven't already got the nic's. It's what I'm currently using, they're really good, but I think the nic's are a little bit grippier.
