on the other forum was a recipe for flapjacks ,but as i am banned i cant get it, has any one got it as my oh is up for making some for me to take on rides

4-6 small bananas 2 cups chopped dates (my mrs also uses dried apricots,cranberries and chopped nuts) 4 cups of oats 160ml veg oil 2 teaspoons vanilla essence. mash bananas in bowl,add dates and oil(and any other fruit and nuts)and mix.stir in oats and vanilla essence,leave for 5 mins to allow oats to soak up oil.spoon onto a well greased baking tray and press down well.bake @ gas mark 5 for 20 mins. I like mine with chocolate on top,just cover in melted chocolate once the flap jack has fully cooled. enjoy  |

Reduce the oil to 60ml. 160ml is too much, and makes it a bit mushy!
