when I replace brake pads I usually buy sintered.when I was rebuilding the ragley I bought deore m615 brakes that came with organic pads.mt tranny bandit has hope tech brakes and came with race matrix pads fitted.to be honest I`m buggered if I can tell any difference between them. just wondering if you have a preference and why?

I've had race matrix recently but usually buy superstar sintered and i couldn't tell the difference, a had organic in the past and they did have extra bite but not in a stop dead suddenly way, i got more feel and modulation through the levers, they lasted no time though and were expensive so sintered it is for me due to the muddy conditions and steep trails i ride most of the time

Always had SS sintered until recently when they had a special on the kevlar compounds so I thought 'why not?' Just fitted one yesterday as it goes and the first thing I've noticed is the rear brake isn't squealing so much, which it has been terribly (Formula RX brakes) bite seems about the same though they probably aren't bedded in properly yet after just a double run of the Dog. Of course what I don't know is how long they'll last. Weather has dried up lovely just now so they'll probably be ok but I've heard the sandy grit we get at Cannock eats Kevlar - we'll see.
