Nico Lau whizzed past me last year when i marshalled at tweedlove ews, into a steep chute at insane speed, its not just the speed its the smooth control,bike and body movement as one machine it seamed, awesome to see in person

How I'd do it mixed in with a few pros who nail it. Bloke at 50s for speed (...WHAT?!?!?...), bloke at 1:03 for style  , lass at 1:06 for running commentary  LinkyThere's a corner like this at Glentress (minus the fern trees and with a stone surface) on Electric Blue (over the bridge, round the massive berm and it's there). Did a skills day there a few years ago and the method used by the bloke at 50s is what I got taught (wide in, fast out). Here's a gif of the nose pivot from Finale Ligure EWS... bastard.  |
