I'm lacking Bike motivation at the minute! Mainly due to having a new toy!, the Caddy!... But this weather! Honestly! I don't mind a sprinkling of rain, and a bit of a breeze! But now my Rock Garden has Washed away, and my fence is down! Regardless of what my riding buddy says, this weather is NOT character building! And it's damaging my bike mojo further!... I demand better weather!...

I agree entirely. It's a fine line between character building and down right miserable. I know which side I'm on when the winds howling and the rain is coming at you sideways on!! Hopefully get through this week and it'll dry up a bit.

The weather is horrendous, with a crap forecast for today which I had booked off and the rest of the week and needing to gets some bike time in, I decided to finish work early yesterday as it was sunny.
Home and changed no dark clouds in the sky I set off without a waterproof and sporting sunglasses, yes sunglasses!!
An hour and 15 miles later the first signs of a shower followed 10 minutes later by sleet and then hard driving rain and gusting winds. I ended up totally wet through, freezing cold and soaked hands and feet.
After a warm shower felt great and feel better for it.

I did Cutgate, whinstone lee tor, hope brink, beast, and lockerbrook on sunday, i had rain, sleet, snow, hail, wind, and a rainbow, a f#####g rainbow can you believe it! Hope brink was so bad the wind lifted my fatbike off the ground so i ended up throwing it over the wall by the woods and skirting the treeline to keep out of it, the missing potato alley out and dropping down the beast for shelter. Horrific ride! But good |

went out yesterday on a 20-odd mile white peak ride. thought I was going to get wet at some time but it held off till after I got home.yes im fed up with this crappy weather, winter just doesn't want to finish.
