Anyone ridden here? Looking to head up on Saturday, little concerned as I've read that it's a bit flat and pedally, then again that was also by people to claimed the blue run was very technical. Some first hand experience would be lovely

Yes we did, both really enjoyed it - never had time to do the bike park bit but the blue and red was just a real fun blast. No real climbing as such, all very swoopy and bermy with a lovely singletrack section through tight tress on the red.
Not very technical but if you like fast, swoopy, bermy and jumpy - it's great. I'd deffo go back again.

Ooh, we went mid week and I got the impression that it would be pretty busy on a weekend, it was pretty busy on a Wednesday - very good visitors centre and cafe too.

Sounds good then! Looks like we'll be leaving early to get a parking space! Might have to work on my "STRAVA" shout to be able to pass people. I like swoopy and fast, and jumpy. Hate climbing though, so this should be a good one! We'll probably hit the DH for a bit as well.

Same as me. Let us know what you think of the place afterwards. Hope I haven't built it up too much!

I don't mind uphill, I just don't like big steep ups followed by small sections of down is all. I sometimes think I'd be better suited to downhilling..

I thought it was utter shite on par with Sherwood Pines, but I did go on the most miserable cold wet rainy day that I've ever rode in. It also killed 4 sets of brake pads, a chain and a free hub between the five of us that went.

I can see why then H. We went on a glorious, warm, dry, sunny day - no mechanicals or feck all. S'pose it's got to colour your perception.
