iv booked a full weekend off, for a ride which got cancelled. I could easily have pulled the holiday from work but thought i'd leave them in so I could join another ride, if one got put up. apart from hodgy's Cumbria ride which isn't confirmed yet nothings on the agenda. does anyone fancy a good days ride somewhere 'out there' , lakes, Yorkshire dales or summat . someone who knows a route rather than relying on maps and gps.  |

Glynn ..just to say that the Cumbria ride is Adams baby ..so only fair that he gets first dibs as to when ...
If I get back from Arran unscathed from the previous weekend ( you should have had that weekend free..it's superb!) ..then I could quite fancy a Lakes ride ..have you ever done what is described in MBR as the Hodge Close
Ride ? It's fairly low level ..but still with fantastic ups and downs ....and I think that's the weekend Gaz ties the knot ..and he is dead keen on Adams ride ..
..just a suggestion ..

Sounds good. Or maybe a yorkshire dales ride. Is that easier for you hodgy? Last time we went up to coniston it was 3 and half hours journey, as opposed to 2 hours up yorkshire. Or 2 and half to stavely nr windermere I, ll go with the majority tho

About 2.5 hours for Coniston ..I'm easy but I have done the ride about three times and can vouch for it ....one of the better Lakes rides !

Would love to mate but she says I'm not allowed to ride on that day ....as I'm getting a ball n chain fitted  bollocks after 10 years.... She's making me put a ring on her finger   Hmmmm just asked if I could change the date ....  Wasn't a good idea when she was holding a knife  |
