I'm doubtful ..slight pain on side of knee prior to playing badminton yesterday ..has since swollen ..don't know why !

Good to see you back out on a night ride Andy..I haven't completely ruled myself out yet ..i would like to make it as there are some tracks which I have never been on ..
It's amazing what still lies undiscovered by myself on my doorstep !

Wimped out after 30 mins ..knee not up to it ..still passed by some crags which I had never been close to before ..
Looks a good ride .. and a good turn out ..Ant , Andy , Graham & Ian ..look forward to hearing about the rest of it !

www.strava.com/activities/290855528Was a nice bimble out with excellent company as usual. Quite a few short and steep hills (your knee wouldn't have liked it) and lots of dust! Dust! In April? Nice. So everything that was a bog a few weeks ago was (mostly) nice and firm under tyre. Which reminds me - I must change my tyres to something less draggy over the weekend. A tad cold (1.7 degrees according to the Garmin) at the end though as it took longer than Ian thought it would. The new steed:  Neil:  The glorious Northumberland countryside...

Bloody hell ..3.00 hours moving time ..without taking into account any blathering ..what time did you get back to the cars?
Mind you the writing was on the wall from the off when the master of understatement said it " might take a while "

Back to the cars at about half 10. Yes, when Ian said that I was wondering if I should've packed my bivvy bag.
I think this stretch of the Sandstone Way is going to catch quite a few people out - short nasty climbs that if you're fully loaded with 3 days worth of kit would be evil. It's not hybrid country either.
