Looks good this!
The new 'cheaper' Sram 1x11 that was just released looked good, but you cant beat XT for price and reliability...
I like the fact you dont have to run a new freehub with the cassette, plus you have the option of 1x/2x/3x... Sram has raced ahead releasing their 1x11, where as Shimano took there time, and have released a groupset that really does cover everything. A few years time and this will be down at Deore/SLX pricing! Cant beat that

I will deffo at some point be looking at an XT 1x11 for the Chief, pussy cog is a good stop gap but this is the real thing and will get cheaper, quicker than the SRAM version. Plus, a few years ago, SRAM ate my hamster, so I'd rather stick with Shimano anyway.

This will be going on my El Guapo later in the year, after not having any success with the woeful shite that One-Up peddle and not wanting to pay extortionate SRAM prices this is a viable alternative. Well done Shimano

Probably get away with the SRAM 10-42 cassette on there though, im running a SRAM one with an SLX rear mech no problems
