Saying that I'm sure they'd hear you coming way before you got anywhere close and move off into the undergrowth.

I'm fine with the wild animals, id worry about whizzing round a bend to meet a group of sock and flip/flop wearing twats with binoculars trying to find them, walking the wrong way around a trail then moaning about bikers

Hmm ...maybe that was a knee jerk reaction..I was perhaps confusing it with the mountain lion in America . I like cats anyway ..still wouldn't argue with it though being the size of a Labrador ..yeah why not ..it's not like we haven't got the space up here ....

Went looking for the black cat once up keilder when camping, bad idea I never slept a wink and pissed in a bottle all night because was I fuck going out that tent swinging my bait about for a big black cat to look at.

Speaking of big cats , saw one up on craven hills walking down the road massive fucker as well had my lad with me and he saw it as well ..
