Need new tubes, so was thinking of buying some slime filled ones are they any good or not ?

yep but now i run tubeless much better but i never got a punture withg slime before but heavy as foooooook compared with tubeless

I find them needlessly heavy, and not that effective... They don't stop pinch flats. Or glass. tubeless is deffo for me!

I'm ditching the slime tube idea and just sticking to tubes for the time being.

tubeless is easy and relatively cheap now mate. a bottle of stans, 2 20" bmx tubes and a wheelset with tyres. watch this vid. its pish easy. if you cant get the tyres up nip to local tyre shop. they will blow up for free.

Tubeless isn't a priority ive got some other changes id like to make first, just thought as i was replacing tubes it might a good idea untill i do go tubeless.

can also make you own slime tubes mate. if you get a bottle of slime from wilkos enough to do 4 tubes. comes with a valve key for car tubes and an aplicator tube. dead easy to do. about £5 a bottle and converts your old standard tubes to slime. saves removing to. hope this helps.
