So after a trip to Les Gets this year decided i needed something with a bit more bounce than my Cannondale RZ 120 had, was gonna uprate the forks but the the max travel the frame could safely take was about 140 so decided to have a look for a new frame for a new build. Found this on Pinkbike and loved the looks of it and the reviews i read seemed good so thought why not. Had to buy a few bits to be able to transfer stuff over from the other bike, Hope Pro 2 conversion kits for the front and back, Hope headset to go with the new forks etc. Started slowly putting it together yesterday Gone to 1x10 and thought i'd give the 42 tooth One up Components a go cos i'm shite at climbing and every little helps eh Just need to sort my cable routing out, get a new chain and then try and dial it all in and get out on it. Thanks for viewing, any comments, suggestions, abuse welcome, ta.

Cheers fella, just from sitting on it it feels ever so slightly cramped but I think thats mostly to do with the head angle compared to my old bike, the brakes are an oldish set of Mono M4's

Very nice, I've not seen many of them in black. I like black bikes but strange thing is they feel mentally heavier to me!! In my mind a black bike is just heavier. Complete bollox I know but that's how it feels.

I like that, very clean. If it was me as mentioned a shorter stem would finish it off, just seem a wee bit to long.

Nice indeed! Could do with black brake adapters though Thanks and noted Cheers dude. So chain arrived today, was supposed to be going out for a ride with a mate on my HT tonight after work but he bailed so thought i'd get it on. First one i've done and was a piece of piss, adjusted the B screw to the max and the derailleur clears the 42t cog with a few mm to spare and pumped the shock up with me new pump. Quick blast up the road and with a 34 on the front it takes no effort to move, i'll wait and see what it's like on the hills. Fitted some new Hope bar ends, got a reverb to fit, sort the cable routing out and fine tune the chain guide with some washers and its pretty much done.
