I have sold quite a bit on there and have sold quite a lot in general on the internet all with no problems at all, never had any come back or anything.
So just a quick question to clear something up, I have found a buyer for my old shock. She has just created her account on PB a few days ago with no activity in her profile, her profile states she is from Bulgaria but she has asked to send to the UK as she says she lives here(No problem there). I have asked to be paied by Paypal Gift which is fine and she will give me the address to send it to in the UK. I will not be sending this out with out payment in my Paypal obviously.
Is there any way this can be a scam, as in she claims back money or anything? I am pretty sure PP gift is non retrievable, that's the whole point of it with out fees. I just want to see if you guys have any thoughts, I just got a weird sixth sense type thing all about this sale for some weird reason haha.
Cheers

with paypal gift I believe there is no way for her to get her money back, as its sent as a money gift, you don't give some one a gift and ask for it back. Unless there are other ways around it now because the scamming f*ckers always find loopholes!

PP Gift can also be refunded, all they have to do is say it was sent in error, the wrong address/account, there account was hacked
I like bank transfer only if possible but most only use paypal, i've never been done yet and sold loads, think you just gotta trust everyone and hope you never get done

Only other thing to do is question her about it? If your unsure about her response, just pull out. (that's what she said)

Use standard paypal, ask them to cover the fees. Send the item using tracked and signed for shipping to the address on their paypal account. You're then fully covered against any claims.
If they say it never turned up, you'll have access to the tracking and it's been sent to the address she's told paypal she lives at. If the address is different I'd be a little hesitant. You should be okay as long as it's tracked and signed for though.

The money has already come through now. The address is
Access Self Storage 19 Moorfield Road , Slyfield Ind. Est. UNIT 1345
Have done some digging and its a place people in other countries get stuff sent to who then ship it out of the country to bypass the huge postage charges in this country to export. So have asked her about this just to clarify. It is her name and that address on the Paypal invoice as well so hopefully all should be well. If she doesn't get back with legit answers I can just do a refund and carry on with the sale.
To be fair she hasn't done or said anything out of the ordinary just me being a bit questionable I think.
Thanks for the responses, and I hope you get your issues sorted out Duke sounds grim!
